The Show
The show

The first dog show was held in England in 1859 and attended by the wealthy English. The first official exhibition in the Netherlands was held in 1872 in Rotterdam. When the show had only a local significance, transport at that time was obviously not like now. Were they happy with an earlier entry of a dozen dogs are now so n 2500 registered at the show. At Crufts, the famous show in 2005 even 23,000 were registered.
A dog show is a gathering place for dog lovers. At a dog show is one dog tested at the latest following the corresponding standard. In principle, everyone can go, whether you are breeding or just someone who is very proud of his / her dog.
Anyone who is showing his dog, is convinced that they have a good pedigree dog
They want the dog to assess their qualities, and let them check the breed standard, and obviously to compete with other dog owners with the same variety.

For anyone with his dog to the show is the motivation is different.
Breeders want to get awards for confirmation that they will breed good dogs.
Individuals who have purchased a dog with a pedigree like this way they get attached to their purchase have made a good choice.

Ultimately, everyone wants to be number 1. Lookers and owners, their pride but also the disappointment that you can get a show, often conceal stabbing, because the assessment is still on a Lhasa you're proud.
